Our company is customer service focused, paying attention to detail and ensuring that completed electrical works are both safe for you and your family and meet safety compliance with electrical regulatory standards.
We strive to provide our clients with professional services, installations, maintenance and repairs that are backed with 36 years technical experience that deliver quality results on time with guaranteed workmanship.
Michael commenced an apprenticeship as a combination electrical fitter & mechanic trade in 1982 which encompassed container shipping electrical repairs, motor control wiring and motor rewinds with the latter half of the apprenticeship focused on commercial high rise building construction within the Sydney CBD which centered around the National Bank (NAB) and State Bank (CBA) building constructions.
After completing my apprenticeship in 1985, I upgraded the standard electrical licensing issue to include an open electrical contractor registration in 1986.
Between 1986 and 1988 I adjusted career paths migrating into the sales and marketing sectors working for an electrical switch gear manufacturer servicing both electrical wholesalers and retail contractor sectors.
Initially I worked as an internal sales officer for several months with the balance of the time dedicated to field marketing as a sales engineer with city and regional country sales territories.
In 1989 I returned to part time studies to undertake a fixed wing commercial pilot’s licence and continued on to become a grade 3 flight instructor whilst completing a command mutli-engine instrument rating.
I continued part time with studies and completed Civil Aviation Authority (CASA) airline transport pr-requisites with full examination credits required to gain a senior commercial airline transport pilots licence.
Unfortunately employment opportunities eroded the following year in 1990 following the “Airlines verses Pilot’s” pay dispute that had escalated in late 1989. It became clearly evident by mid 1990 that there were very limited employment opportunities for pilots with low flight time experience in gaining entry into the airline transport sectors for the foreseeable future.
Following the aftermath of the “Pilots’ verses Airlines” pay dispute I made the decision later in 1990 to return full time to my trade as an electrical contractor.
Between 1988 and 1994 I continued to work under subcontract arrangements within the electrical and telecommunications sectors and made the decision to incorporate into a company structure in 1994, becoming the qualified electrical supervisor for the company.
In 1994 I completed training, examinations and applicable endorsements to attain an open Austel telecommunications cabling licence / Australian Communications Authority (ACA) which later transitioned to accredited registrars’ with our licencing being held with the ACRS master cablers registrar.
I have held security licencing with the NSW Police Services since 1994 which later transitioned into separate personal and company security licencing structures in 1998 with the formation of the NSW Police Security Register.
I completed additional technical training in 2017 with NBN EnAble workers accreditation for broadband HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) which encompassed site installations, terminations and technical field orientated fault diagnostics.
