When I called Michael (the owner) last week with my electrical problem, he first spent several minutes with me on the phone helping me try to rectify the issue (to try and save me the cost of him coming out) which was very nice. When we couldn’t seem to solve it, he came out the next day. Michael was very polite and tidy, cleaning up after himself at each point (after drilling etc). I am getting him back next week for some more work. Thanks Michael!

I called Michael at short notice and explained to him that my kitchen downlights were failing. Michael was very understanding and was able to come out despite it being so close to end of year. Michael assessed the situation and explained the options available to us in great detail. With the information we had, we decided to switch over to LED lighting. Michael’s attitude was very professional. He was punctual, courteous and very efficient in his delivery. We are extremely pleased with the new lights we have. They look great and work well. Really impressive!!! I called 3 other electricians before getting Michael. Not only did he answer the phone but then proceeded to talked me through a difficult call for help when all the lights went out 10.30 on a Friday night. He helped sort out the problem in a calm and professional manner, and followed up with written support and confirmation straight after!!! There were no charges for anything, he just genuinely helped. Michael saved us one evening when our electricity was tripping. We thought it was straight forward but it was not. He came at short notice and spent the time until late in the evening to ensure the entire problem was sorted. He fixed a number of problems professionally whilst explaining to us the problems. Around 6pm on Sunday all appliances in my house failed other than the lights and I had two kids that were in the middle of being fed and watered. After checking all the fuses to make sure nothing had blown I wasn’t sure what to do. I looked on True local and came across a number of electricians that serviced my area but Michael from KM Electrical stood out due to previous reviews saying how good he was. I gave him a call and he answered straight away. Listened to the issue and over a 5 minute period talked me though the potential issues given his experience and by the end of it we had identified the problem appliance and we were back running to full steam. More importantly for my 2 year old, Dora the explorer was back on!! Michael is a true gent, he could have come out and charged me but was more than happy to stay on the line and talk me thorough the issue. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough and I will be sure to use him again. Thanks

He’s always on-time, takes care to explain and communicate, is fastidious, cleans up so no mess left behind, is cost-effective, and just goes out of his way to make sure you get the best possible result. Michael came to my rescue on a Saturday morning when the power boards in my house stopped working – thanks to an old kettle. Michael talked me through how to fix the problem and explained things using language that I understood (being completely electricity illiterate). He was pleasant and followed up with me regularly. He even spotted that my safety switch was a model that had been recalled and recommended an action plan. Michael was kind enough to counsel me over the phone so avoided a weekend call out fee. It was nice to be serviced by a true professional who genuinely wanted to help! Thanks Michael.
